Rosy's Taco Bar
According to popular legend ...
the "aimless yet charming" James “Rosy” Roosevelt lived up to his reputation. While his older half-brother Franklin Delano Roosevelt was establishing his post-war legacy, Rosy was driven by a love of both strong drink and a mysterious woman on an odyssey that stretched from his native New York down through the American Southwest, eventually crossing the border into Mexico. While his exact whereabouts during his flight of passion are unknown to this day, he returned an early champion of the unfamiliar delicacy commonly referred to as "tacos." Later in life he could often be found atop a barstool reminiscing over his journey and the desert rose that escaped him, finding comfort in the culinary treasure he helped popularize.
We named a Taco Bar in his honor.
